North Indiana Conference
The outdoor ministries of the North Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church (NICUMC) are known as Impact 2818. It is missioned to make disciples for Jesus Christ by creating short term communities in which person's experience the Christian faith.
Impact 2818 is a collective ministry that allows every church in the North Indiana Conference to say they have a pool, a blob, zip lines, hundreds of acres and one of the most influential weeks in a young person's life. Each NICUMC church is part of a student and children's ministry that builds into more than than 3,000 students each year.
This ministry serves any and every local church. Children who go to camp are built into by volunteers and peers from their home towns and faith communities. They return home with those people to continue God's work which was nurtured or begun at camp.
